Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This travel position is for a Special Education Teacher supporting upper elementary students in a school located in Jefferson, MA. The role is a part-time (.5 position) commitment starting as soon as possible through June 2026. Days per week will be determined based on the school's schedule and needs.
Key qualifications for this role include:
- Massachusetts Special Education License from the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE)
- Multi-Sensory Reading Training certification
Responsibilities include delivering specialized instruction and support to meet the diverse needs of students in a special education setting. You will work collaboratively with school staff to create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students learning goals.
