Hospice Volunteer Coordinator
- Recruit, screen, and onboard new volunteers.
- Build partnerships with community groups, schools, and faith organizations to promote volunteer opportunities.
- Maintain accurate volunteer records, schedules, and documentation.
- Provide support and regular check-ins with volunteers.
- Plan volunteer recognition and appreciation events.
- Collaborate closely with the hospice team to align volunteer services with patient and family needs.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Experience in volunteer management, community outreach, or hospice preferred.
- Compassionate, dependable, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Must be able to travel throughout the service area
