What you'll bring:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous experience in a paraprofessional role within a school setting
- Willingness and ability to assist with personal care, including toileting, dressing, changing, and hygiene support
- A commitment to ensuring the student’s engagement, safety, and active participation throughout the school day
- PLUS one of the following: an associate’s degree, at least 48 college credits, or a passing score on the ParaPro or WorkKeys assessment
Your primary responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized support to a middle school male student, encouraging growth and success
- Provide supervision and care with compassion and respect for the student’s dignity
- Assist with personal care needs, including dressing, toileting, and hygiene throughout the school day
- Help maintain a supportive and inclusive classroom environment by assisting with behavioral and academic needs
- Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to foster a positive educational experience
This is a full-time contract position (35–37.5 hours per week), offering immediate start with a placement lasting through the end of June 2026. The interview is a straightforward virtual process via Microsoft Teams, typically lasting 15–30 minutes. Reliable transportation and the ability to complete required fingerprinting promptly are important.
