Entry Level CNC Machinist

Position Summary

NyproMold is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level CNC Operator to join our machining team. This role is ideal for individuals looking to start a career in precision manufacturing and tooling. The CNC Operator will assist in operating and maintaining CNC equipment while learning to produce high-quality components used in injection mold tooling.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines under supervision
• Load and unload raw materials and finished parts
• Monitor machine operations to ensure proper function and detect issues
• Perform tool changes and offsets as directed
• Inspect parts using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Read and follow work instructions, blueprints, and setup sheets
• Maintain accurate production and quality documentation
• Keep machines and work areas clean and organized
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures

Qualifications

Required:

• Vocational School – completion or active
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment
• Basic math skills (measurement, fractions, decimals)

Preferred:

• Exposure to CNC machining through coursework, training, or internships
• Ability to read basic blueprints or technical drawings
• Familiarity with measuring tools (calipers, micrometers)

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
• Manual dexterity to handle tools and small components

Pay based on experienced: $21-$23/hour

The hourly pay range for this role is $16.35 - $29.42. Job-related, non-discriminatory factors used to determine the actual offered rate include qualifications and experience, geographic location, education, external market data, and consideration of internal equity.
