Vice President, Business Development (Northeast)
We are growing and are looking for a dynamic, entrepreneurial and highly motivated Vice President of Business Development to initiate and cultivate growth opportunities in the Northeast for the organization. This critical role is directly responsible for increasing revenue and profitability for the company by creatively solving client needs and challenges. You are a professional networker and building strong relationships and have demonstrated success in acquiring and expanding client partnerships.

- Lead Generation and Acceleration: Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth
- Identify, pursue and close new business opportunities with customers, including expansion into new markets and customer segments
- Utilize data-driven insights to assess the effectiveness of revenue initiatives, optimize pricing strategies, and make informed decisions to maximize profitability.
- Solutioning: Build and maintain strategic relationships with new and existing clients to expand service offerings, while ensuring favorable terms, pricing, and contracts
- Investigate and analyze new business opportunities; develop and maintain positive business relationships with potential clients; build both internal and external networks
- Sales Process: Actively use marketing systems to build rapport and relationships over the selling cycle, leverage data to action a strategy and report out on activity
- Lead the development of sales presentations, proposals, and contractual sales documents
- Research and Strategy: Build and develop relationships by participating in industry networking groups and hosting client events to maintain a pulse on the market
- Be a partner to others on the sales team to achieve and surpass sales targets
- Prepare and deliver presentations on products and services
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve better results and understand the company’s services to facilitate sales efforts
- Brand Ambassador: Credibly represent the company at business-related events with clients and prospects
- Be a culture warrior at every point of contact, visibly demonstrating the value of the organization and team
What You Bring to the Table:
- 7 – 10 years of experience with a focus on selling of a service
- Experience in corporate dining service sales
- Demonstrated understanding of the unique hospitality marketplace, industry and client dynamics
- Capability to execute independently in a dynamic, fast-paced setting
Travel Requirements:
- You get to travel up to 70% to prospect and meet with prospective clients
- This growth role is based in the Dallas, Austin or Houston areas.
