Client Account Specialist - 20 hours per week, weekdays, flexible

Position Summary: Monitors and resolves At Home Private Care account receivables by payor specific and aging categories.

Functions & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for generating and sending out invoices by email or mail.
• Evaluates the integrity of client bills for accuracy.
• Researches and resolves all accounts with credit balances.
• Responsible for all billing and claims issues and resolutions.
• Demonstrates communications skills to work with clients, staff and insurers.
• Maintains written documentation of steps taken to resolve payment of account.
• Review pre-billing information with Supervisor and make corrections prior to invoicing.
• Posts check and credit card cash payments to appropriate client accounts.
• Communicates with staff, clients and family members to obtain complete and accurate billing information.
• Responsible for managing weekly credit card payments.
• Monitors accounts receivables to ensure claims are paid in a timely manner.
• Work together with Director to follow-up on outstanding accounts.
• Reviews credit balances to avoid inappropriate payments and issue refunds as necessary.
• Produces Prepost Report, Accounts Receivable Detail Aging Reports and Accounts Receivable Summary Aging Reports.
• Maintains and distributes the Weekly Hours Report.
• Upholds the compliance objectives and policies and procedures of the Foundation and Subsidiaries.
• Performs other related duties of a similar nature and complexity as directed.
