Job Title: Skilled Cabinet Maker

Location: Cape Cod, MA

Position Summary:
We are a high-end custom millwork shop seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in creating all major components of custom cabinetry, including face frames, cases, and doors. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated craftsman passionate about quality craftsmanship and precise execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret detailed blueprints, plans, and specifications to accurately produce custom cabinetry components.
• Mill, cut, assemble, and install face frames, cases (boxes), and doors to client specifications.
• Fabricate all components with a focus on precision, quality, and adherence to design details.
• Assemble cases, ensuring all joinery and hardware placements are accurate and secure.
• Mill and prepare components for face frames and doors, including mortise and tenon joints, dadoes, rabbeted edges, and other joinery methods.
• Perform sanding, finishing, and detailing to achieve smooth, polished surfaces suitable for painted and stained finishes.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company quality expectations.
• Collaborate with project managers, designers, and finish team to coordinate project timelines and specifications.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Proven experience (3+ years) in custom cabinet making or high-end millwork production.
• Strong knowledge of woodworking tools, machinery, and joinery techniques.
• Skilled in reading and following detailed blueprints and technical drawings.
• Expertise in creating face frames, cases, doors, and finishing the components.
• Attention to detail, craftsmanship, and pride in producing high-quality custom work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of finishing techniques for painted and stained cabinetry.
