Locum MD (Medical Doctor), DO (Osteopathic Doctor) Ob/Gyn

Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality obstetric and gynecological care to patients
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations
- Perform necessary procedures and surgeries as needed
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
- Educate patients on health issues and preventive care
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
- Participate in continuous professional development and training
- Adhere to all safety and health regulations in the practice
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Valid medical license to practice in the state
- Strong clinical skills and patient management abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to patient care and ethical practice
- Previous experience in a locum or similar role is a plus
- Schedule: 2 weekday and 2 weekend shifts per week
Shift Times: Monday-Friday (8a-5p) or weekends (7a-7p)
Clinical Setting: Labor and delivery
Daily Census: 20 patients
Births Per Year: 1200
Will help with first assist on C-sections and GYN OR cases
EMR: Epic
Support Staff: PAs and CNMs
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & lodging
