PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT DESIGNER

Location: Framingham, Massachusetts

Job Type: Contract

Compensation Range: $35 - 40 per hour


We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Product Designer to support our Product Development Team in designing and developing artwork and products for faux floral home décor. This role plays an important part in bringing innovative design concepts to life, from initial ideas through final product development.



Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and execute artwork for specified product programs using Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Work with the Product Development team from the concept meeting through artwork execution.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Illustrator a must.
• Passionate about home product color and trend.
• Degree in Design or equivalent work experience.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to communicate and interpret conceptual design ideas.
• Ability to handle multiple projects with flexibility and ease.
• Experience in Product Development and plus.
• Strong organization and follow through skills.
• Works well in a team environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills.

Additional Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of floral species and seasonality.
• Knowledge of floral design: Arrangements, garlands, wreaths, swags & seasonal floral décor.
• Knowledge of faux floral trend: retailers & seasonal floral décor.
