Platform DevOps Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Platform DevOps Engineer to support cloud platform engineering initiatives through automation, infrastructure-as-code, and modern CI/CD practices. This role focuses on building scalable, secure, and resilient cloud environments while enabling efficient application deployment and operational excellence. The ideal candidate brings strong cloud expertise, automation skills, and a passion for continuous improvement within DevOps environments.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure-as-code solutions using modern tooling

• Automate provisioning and configuration of cloud resources

• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployments

• Deploy and support cloud platforms for PaaS and IaaS workloads

• Identify opportunities to automate infrastructure creation and application delivery processes

• Support multiple projects while contributing to DevOps platform improvements

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

• Strong experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform and scripting languages

• Experience building and managing deployment pipelines and release workflows

• Proficiency with source control platforms and Git-based workflows

• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and release management practices

• Experience supporting internal development platforms and cloud change control processes

• Working knowledge of APIs, authentication methods, and JSON payloads

• Strong understanding of cloud computing models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)

• Experience with cloud platforms and services

• Knowledge of secure automation practices including secrets management and IaC scanning

• Strong familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems

• Experience with containerized workloads preferred
