Overview
Registered Nurse - ICU | Springfield, MA | Start 04/13/2026 | 13-week travel assignment | 36 guaranteed hours per week | Night shift (3x12) | ICU in a hospital setting. Weekly pay range: $2,293 to $2,439 per week. This assignment is affiliated with the ShiftWise platform. Upon offer, the agency will be required to sign the AMN vendor agreement and provide a copy of the Massachusetts staffing license and insurance via MYCOI. Note: candidates must be located outside a 90-mile radius from the assignment facility.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to critically ill adults in the ICU, including monitoring hemodynamics, ventilator support, and response to rapid changes in patient condition
- Administer medications, perform bedside procedures, and coordinate with the multidisciplinary team to implement and adjust care plans
- Manage patients with sepsis, ESRD/AKI requiring CRRT or CVVH, post-cardiac arrest care, and respiratory failure; operate within unit protocols
- Float to Medical ICU, SICU, and IMC as needed based on patient census and acuity; maintain patient safety during transitions
- document accurately and promptly; communicate updates to physicians, families, and team members; participate in shift handoffs and care conferences
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies and ANA/ICU standards; respond to emergencies and activate Code Blue protocols as required

Requirements
- Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse license
- Certifications: NIHSS, BLS, ACLS (American Heart Association)
- Experience: 1 year in a Level 1 ICU or 2 years in MICU preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a high-acuity ICU setting
- Willingness to float to Medical ICU, SICU, and IMC as needed
- Must be outside a 90-mile radius from the assignment facility
