Job Title: Cardiac Catheterization Technician (Cath Lab Tech)

Location: South Weymouth MA
Employment Type: 13 week contract
Shift: 10 HR Days

Rate: Up to $3100 per week + benefits from day 1!

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cardiac Catheterization Technician to join our Cath Lab team. The Cath Lab Tech assists physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, ensuring patient safety, accurate equipment operation, and adherence to sterile technique.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist cardiologists during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures

• Prepare and maintain sterile fields and equipment for procedures

• Operate imaging equipment, hemodynamic monitoring systems, and contrast injectors

• Monitor patients’ vital signs and cardiac rhythms during procedures

• Scrub, circulate, and/or monitor cases as assigned

• Prepare patients pre-procedure and assist with post-procedure care

• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient data

• Ensure compliance with infection control, radiation safety, and hospital policies

• Troubleshoot and maintain Cath Lab equipment and supplies

• Participate in on-call rotation as required

Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, or related field (required)

• Current certification as RCIS, RT(R), or equivalent (preferred/required based on facility)

• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred

• Minimum [1–2] years of experience in a cardiac catheterization lab preferred

• Knowledge of cardiac anatomy, procedures, and hemodynamic monitoring

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment

• Proficiency with Cath Lab equipment and technology

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods

• Lift and position patients as needed

• Wear lead aprons and comply with radiation safety protocols
