Facilities Technician I
The Facilities Technician I is an entry level position for the support of the BHN Facilities Department. General responsibilities are routine entry level building maintenance and facility- related tasks including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and other facility-related tasks as assigned.
What you'll do:
- Completes short-term maintenance projects as needed (e.g., painting, basic household repairs, remodel, refurbish etc.).
- Cleans windows and glass doors.
- Moves and assembles furniture or equipment between BHN locations as needed.
- Performs minor plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs and services.
- Uses company vehicle to assist with refuse delivery to local waste management facilities as needed.
- Performs housekeeping duties as needed.
- Maintains grounds in clean and orderly manner as needed.
- Required to be part of rotating “on call” services for department.
Requirements:
- High school Diploma or GED required.
- Basic/entry level knowledge of facilities systems, preventative maintenance, repairs, and work.
- OSHA 10 certification required or must be obtained within 90 days of employment.
- Basic knowledge of all facilities related safety standards and regulations (fire, evacuation, equipment handling and failure, etc.
- Valid driver’s license required.
PAY: $22.00/hour
