Filing Clerk
Location: Charlestown, MA 02129
Pay Rate: $19/hour
Duration: 6-Month Contract
We're looking for a detail-oriented Filing Clerk to help organize, maintain, and archive employee records in a fast-paced office environment.
Responsibilities
- Organize and file employee records accurately
- Create, label, and maintain personnel folders
- Sort files by employee ID and company procedures
- Prepare inactive files for off-site storage
- Enter and track archived records using Microsoft Excel
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Lift and move file boxes as needed
Requirements
- Previous experience in filing, records management, clerical, or administrative roles
- Strong organizational and data entry skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and handle confidential documents
- Ability to lift storage boxes and perform repetitive filing tasks
