Epicor Financial Analyst
Our client is seeking an experienced Epicor Financials Analyst to support and optimize Epicor ERP financial processes across multiple business units throughout the United States. This is a full-time, remote position that will initially require approximately 25% travel to support business unit onboarding, implementations, training, and process alignment. Travel requirements are expected to decrease over time as the role transitions into a long-term support and maintenance function.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of accounting, finance, and Epicor ERP expertise, serving as a key liaison between finance teams and ERP stakeholders. This individual will play a critical role in supporting financial operations, improving business processes, and ensuring Epicor is configured to meet the evolving needs of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide functional support and administration for Epicor Financial Management modules across multiple business units.
- Serve as the primary resource for Epicor financial processes, including:
- General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Month-End Close
- Financial Reporting
- Multi-Company Financial Operations
- Partner with finance and accounting teams to gather business requirements and translate them into effective Epicor solutions.
- Configure and optimize Epicor financial modules to support business objectives and operational efficiency.
- Support Epicor upgrades, implementations, acquisitions, and business unit integrations.
- Assist with testing, validation, and deployment of system enhancements and upgrades.
- Troubleshoot system issues and work closely with users to resolve financial process challenges.
- Develop and deliver end-user training, documentation, and process guides.
- Support month-end and year-end financial activities as needed.
- Analyze financial workflows and recommend process improvements leveraging Epicor functionality.
- Collaborate with ERP, IT, and business teams to ensure system integrity and data accuracy.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance as the organization continues to expand its Epicor footprint.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on Epicor ERP Financials experience.
- Strong knowledge of:
- General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Month-End Close Processes
- Financial Reporting
- Experience supporting Epicor implementations, upgrades, and system enhancements.
- Experience working within multi-company ERP environments.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial business processes.
- Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into ERP solutions.
- Strong customer service and end-user support skills.
- Experience delivering user training and creating documentation.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% throughout the United States during the initial phases of the role.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Epicor Kinetic Financial Management modules.
- SQL query and reporting experience.
- Experience supporting cloud and/or on-premises Epicor environments.
- Exposure to business process improvement initiatives.
- Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, or business unit consolidations within an ERP environment.
- Understanding of financial controls, audit processes, and compliance requirements.
Education Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in:

- Finance
- Business Administration
- Information Technology
- Or a related field
