• Employment Type: Locum tenens / Travel / Contract
• Healthcare Setting: Rehabilitation / Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)
• Start Date: September 4, 2025
• End Date: December 4, 2025
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 12 Hour Days
• Guaranteed Hours: 32 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,620–$1,660

Occupational Therapist Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapist license in Massachusetts
• Minimum 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapist (OT); new graduates are welcome to apply (SNF experience preferred)
• Certification in Rehabilitation Therapy
• Covid-19 test required within 72 hours before start date (results within 48 hours)
• Completion of 8 hours of Dementia Training
• Credentialing requirements: Resume, 3 professional references, state license verification, 7-year county/federal/multi-state criminal background check, nationwide sex offender search, HHS/OIG/GSA/SAM searches, Social Security Number trace, 1-step PPD or Quantiferon or proof of positive PPD and chest X-ray, CORI Massachusetts background check

Occupational Therapist Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan, and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment programs for patients in a rehabilitation/skilled nursing facility
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records
• Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs
• Participate in facility meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
