IT Support Specialist
Our client is a technology consulting firm seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide technical support to their team of 100+ employees. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems and helping people get the most out of their technology.
You'll troubleshoot hardware and software issues, manage user accounts, and support the day-to-day IT operations of the company.
Responsibilities
- Provide first-line technical support for hardware, software, and network issues
- Set up and configure laptops, desktops, and mobile devices for new hires
- Manage user accounts and permissions in Active Directory and Microsoft 365
- Troubleshoot VPN, email, and connectivity issues
- Maintain IT asset inventory and track equipment assignments
- Install software updates and security patches
- Document common issues and solutions in the knowledge base
- Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff as needed
Requirements
- 1+ year of experience in IT support or help desk role
- Familiarity with Windows, macOS, and Microsoft 365 administration
- Basic understanding of networking concepts and TCP/IP
- Experience with Active Directory and user account management
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- CompTIA A+ or similar certification is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred
