About the role

Perform first articles, inspect high precision machined and molded parts using elaborate setups. Use department equipment including CMM machine and OGP Smartscope. Help in department training on equipment or inspection techniques. Work with R&D and engineering on prototype products. Write non-conforming reports for product out of tolerance.

What you’ll do

  • Confirm the quality of product coming into the building using Part Quality Inspection Plans, Generate non-conforming reports, perform first articles

  • Responsible, reliable employee looking to continue gaining experience in the quality side of manufacturing

What we are looking for in you

  • Must have 3-5 years mechanical measurement experience.
  • Must be familiar with most inspection equipment: comparator, verniers, micrometers ect...
  • Above average computer skills
  • Good people skills

  • Ability to lift 25lbs

Work Location: on-site in our Billerica, Enterprise Rd [4E] facility 5 days/week (M-F)

Targeted Salary Range: $28 - $32/hour

Working Hours: 7:00 AM - 03:30 PM
