Associate, Asset Strategy & Development
Overview
- Partnering with the Asset Strategy & Development Lead on a wide variety of tasks related to the day-to-day operation of the Company’s centers including development and implementation of the center’s business plan and operating budget, identification and management of external service providers and communication with internal cross functional teams and our tenants, all with the goal of maximizing the success of our Company centers.
- Assisting with the implementation and management of larger-scale development projects and capital improvements within our existing centers and new acquisitions, including project due diligence, research of appropriate governing local, state, and federal regulations, outreach to municipalities and other stakeholders necessary to secure required land use entitlements, reviewing and organizing project plans, reports and related documents, soliciting proposals, hiring and managing external consulting teams such as engineers, architects, etc., ensuring compliance with project schedule and budget and coordinating among multiple internal teams and stakeholders to ensure success.
- Act as the Company point-of-contact for our tenants, helping to ensure their success by assisting with problem solving, answering routine questions and responding to their operational needs. Researching leases to assist in determining rights and responsibilities of landlord and tenant. Visiting centers regularly to ensure efficient, clean, safe and code-compliant operation and collecting tenant feedback and incorporating suggestions to enhance the centers’ appearance and success.
- Utilizing company software systems and managing preparation/scheduling of recurring property reports and internal meetings. Assisting the Accounting department to ensure timely payment of the center’s operating costs by answering questions that arise regarding billings, invoices, charges, coding and assist with management and adherence with operational and capital budgets for our centers.

The expected salary range for this position is $70,000-$75,000 per year. Actual compensation will be based on factors such as skills, qualifications, experience, and location. This role is also eligible to participate in our annual bonus program.
