We are looking for an experienced HVAC Project Manager who is searching to do what they'll love - execute HVAC projects on a national level! Do you have experience overseeing HVAC new construction projects, as well as replacements and additions for facility remodels? Do you love food? If so, read on! Trader Joe's is unlike any place you've ever worked. Trust us on that. The qualified candidates has at least 3-5 years of HVAC/Construction experience, preferably in the Supermarket/Commercial market and is a raving fan of the Trader Joe's concept. A Bachelor's Degree in mechanical engineering is strongly preferred. This role is based in our office in Boston, MA.

The HVAC Project Manager is responsible for:

• Executing and overseeing HVAC construction and replacement projects, of all sizes
• Coordinating and communicating with all teams, subcontractors, landlords and supplier
• Managing and documenting projects utilizing project management software platform
• Coordinating design, scope of work, and schedule with the store operations crew
• Obtaining internal approvals
• Maintaining HVAC design standards with internal teams, engineers, and architects
• Coordinating and assisting with controls integration of all HVAC equipment
• Managing application process for all permits and governmental approvals
• Generating budgets for all HVAC related projects
• Visiting job sites on an as-needed basis
• Supporting Facilities and Construction teams, as needed
• Providing technical guidance to HVAC vendors, on new and existing stores
• Evaluating vendor performance and maintaining a database of preferred vendors
• Maintaining accurate asset inventory through facilities software
• Ensuring compliance with all applicable building codes, regulations, and industry standard

The HVAC Project Manager has the following skills:

• Comprehensive construction management skills, including extensive experience reading plans, building and analyzing budgets, creating and maintaining schedules, and negotiating with contractors
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, of all scales
• Thorough knowledge/understanding of HVAC and EMS systems, as well as the supermarket and construction industries
• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
