Wire Transfer Analyst II
- Oversees wire transfer systems, verify transactions and ensures secure processing of wire transfers.
- Repair incoming wire funds transfers for processing according to instructions and within established deadlines, policies, procedures, and authorization limits.
- Performs secondary approval verification.
- Collaborates with the branches and clients to research and respond to any regarding incoming and outgoing wires.
- Follow loss prevention procedures for all incoming and outgoing wires.
- Perform wire template maintenance annually as well as changes are needed.
- Assists with the implantation of new products and software to gain/enhance operational efficiencies.
- Update wire trend report monthly and annual basis.
- Review transactions for OFAC compliance.
- Maintain accurate and updated physical and electronic records of all correspondence related to wire or funds transfer transactions.
- Perform maintenance of electronic customer profile records within e-Wire.
- Foreign Check Collection and management of electronic and physical records.
- Prepare the funding for the internal PIO account.
- Responsible for completing the proof of assigned general ledger accounts according to deadlines. Research and resolve outstanding items.
- Maintain proficient knowledge of all applicable banking rules and regulations.
- Promote various marketing campaigns; explain features and benefits; identify and act upon potential cross-sell or referral opportunities.
- Complete all internal Company training as assigned and required.
- Adhere to the Company’s privacy and data security policies including but not limited to safeguarding of sensitive information and complying with relevant regulations to protect non-public information.
- Exhibit the ability and desire to embrace and enhance the Company culture.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of related experience in Deposit Operations and one-year minimum wire transfer experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Database, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, confidentiality, multi-tasking, time management, and interpersonal skills
- Proficient organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple, overlapping, and potentially conflicting priorities.
- Basic knowledge of the banking and financial services industry including federal laws and regulations
- Willingness to gain new knowledge and technical skills.
- Intermediate typing skills to meet the production needs of the position.
- Intermediate math skills: the ability to calculate interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages; balance accounts; add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; locate routine mathematical errors; compute rate, ratio, and percent, including the drafting and interpretation of bar graphs.
- Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions and instruct others, train personnel, read, analyze, and interpret documents and professional journals, understand procedures, write reports, correspondence, and procedures, speak clearly to customers and employees.
