Planning and Supply Chain Manager

- Supply Chain Strategy: Develop and implement strategies to optimize the supply chain network, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
- Demand Planning & Forecasting: Lead the sales and operations planning (S&OP) process to forecast demand accurately and align it with supply capabilities.
- Inventory Management: Maintain optimal inventory levels through effective stock control and reorder point planning.
- Procurement & Supplier Management: Collaborate with procurement teams to ensure timely sourcing of materials, and manage relationships with key suppliers.
- Production Planning: Coordinate with production and operations teams to create efficient production schedules that align with demand forecasts.
- Logistics Coordination: Manage inbound and outbound logistics to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and finished goods.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze supply chain data and KPIs, prepare performance reports, and present actionable insights to senior management.
- Risk Management: Identify potential supply chain risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate disruptions.
- Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and develop the planning and supply chain team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree or MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, planning, or logistics roles, with at least 2 years in a managerial position
- Proficiency in supply chain software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems)
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies is a plus
- APICS/CSCP or other relevant supply chain certifications preferred
