Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Tax & Treasury Accountant to join our finance team. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in U.S. federal and state taxation, sales tax compliance, and hands-on expertise in fixed assets, inventory accounting, cash flow management, and trade finance operations such as LC issuance and PCG. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring compliance, optimizing cash management, and supporting cross-border financial operations.

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage and file U.S. federal and state corporate income tax returns
• Oversee multi-state sales & use tax compliance, exemptions, and audits
• Maintain fixed asset registers and calculate depreciation per GAAP and tax regulations
• Supervise inventory accounting, including valuation and physical reconciliation
• Forecast and manage short- and long-term cash flows
• Monitor accounts receivable, credit limits, and collections
• Handle issuance and documentation of Letters of Credit (LC) and Payment/Performance Guarantees (PCG)
• Collaborate with external tax advisors, auditors, and financial institutions
• Support internal controls and ensure compliance with audit and reporting standards

Key Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Required:

• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, federal/state tax codes, and multi-jurisdiction sales tax rules
• Hands-on experience with fixed asset and inventory accounting
• Proficiency in cash flow forecasting and AR management
• Working knowledge of LC/PCG processes and banking documentation
• ERP system experience (SAP, Oracle, etc.); advanced Excel skills
• Strong communication skills in English (Korean bilingual preferred but not required)

Desired:

• CPA or EA (Enrolled Agent) certification
• Experience in multinational environments or global trading companies
• Familiarity with IFRS or multi-GAAP reporting environments
• Background in manufacturing, logistics, or supply chain-intensive businesses

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in U.S. corporate tax and treasury operations
