Driver of art
Studio Echelman is seeking an Art Driver for immediate hire to join a professional driver taking turns driving a 22-hr trip to transport artworks from MA to FL. There are teams available on both sides to assist with loading and unloading.
Available to drive round-trip on a 3-day weekend from Saturday through Monday, either this weekend Oct. 25-27 or the next weekend of Nov. 1-3 latest.
Our Boston-based design studio, which creates projects at the intersection of sculpture, architecture, public art, and urban transformation. Led by artist Janet Echelman, the design team focuses on the development and creation of large-scale artworks, both permanent and temporary. These living, breathing sculpture environments respond to the forces of nature - wind, water and light - and become inviting focal points for civic life.
This can be an entry into working with our studio as an art assistant.
Qualifications:
- Ability to take turns driving a cargo van of art for a 22-hr journey from MA to FL.
- Available to drive round-trip on a 3-day weekend from Saturday through Monday, either this weekend Oct. 25-27 or the next weekend of Nov. 1-3 latest.
Experience with art or art handling encouraged.
Highly organized and attentive to detail.
