Experienced Quality Assurance Analyst

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced IT Quality Assurance professional to support complex enterprise applications and ensure high-quality software releases. This role partners closely with business users, developers, and testing teams across the full project lifecycle, delivering effective testing strategies and driving continuous quality improvements. The ideal candidate enjoys solving challenging problems, thrives in collaborative environments, and brings strong hands-on testing expertise.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform system integration and regression testing, including test planning, execution, defect management, and reporting

• Participate in test strategy development for releases and project initiatives

• Analyze requirements and user stories to create detailed test scenarios and cases

• Collaborate with business analysts to understand requirements and with developers to troubleshoot defects

• Develop and improve QA processes to prevent recurring issues

• Support User Acceptance Testing and assist business users with validation and issue resolution

• Work with onsite and offshore teams to coordinate and execute testing activities

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

• Minimum of 4 years of IT Quality Assurance experience or related field

• Experience supporting complex systems development or packaged software implementations

• Strong problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail

• Effective written and verbal communication across technical and business teams

• Solid understanding of end-to-end software development lifecycle and testing processes

• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities

• Experience working in Agile and/or Waterfall environments

• Strong collaboration skills across QA, IT, and business stakeholders

• Familiarity with defect management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Quality Center, or similar platforms

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building and maintaining automated test suites (UI and API testing)

• Background in commercial insurance underwriting or claims systems

• Experience with enterprise policy or claims platforms

• Knowledge of ISO standards or compliance testing
