This position is a key member of the HMFP project teams that are responsible for implementing major projects to change or enhance business practices processes and systems for HMFP. Draws on a broad understanding of HMFP practices and policies and utilizes tools techniques and methodology of professional project management fundamentals to meet the current and anticipated needs of the organization. This position will support projects such as Epic Readiness & Implementation The BIDMC and DFCI Cancer Collaboration Project No Surprises Act etc. This position will also provide ad hoc support to HMFP Corporates administrative projects. Essential Responsibilities:
- Provides support in developing and implementing projects. Works closely with senior administrators to facilitate the teams work and coordinate or manage the teams initiatives and projects.
- Demonstrates superior collaboration skills and techniques which define alternate solutions while creating lasting productive partnerships.
- Actively participates in cross-functional groups to solve problems across projects. Utilizes a network of relationships to collect and disseminate information build support and secure buy-in for desired objectives.
- Ability to work on multiple large and smaller complex projects simultaneously.
- Partners with sponsors and team leaders to strategize team project plans. Focuses on critical success factors project milestones and deliverables and develops contingency plans.
- Supports project team meetings including a review of action plans and tracking of project milestones. Updates action plans weekly and prompts accountable individuals to insure timely task completion. Supports activities of project teams and maintains accurate documentation of team minutes.
- Designs communication strategies for project progress. Ensures timely and consistent communication of project priorities status timelines and deliverables to the user community.
- Designs data collection methods and data analyses to support team efforts. Interprets and reports data to a variety of audiences and uses data to make recommendations for process improvements.
- Ensures appropriate project prioritization and requests for resources. Ensures projects are appropriately managed and delivered on time within budget to meet the strategic and operational needs of the department.
Required Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED required. Currently enrolled in Northeastern undergraduate/graduate program.
- Working knowledge an ability to understand fundamentals of Project Management experience required.
- Advanced skills with Microsoft applications which may include Outlook Word Excel PowerPoint or Access and other web-based applications. May produce complex documents perform analysis and maintain databases.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in meeting facilitation and the ability to lead group discussions.
- Prior work experience with Epic.
- 1-2 years related work experience preferred.

Written Communications: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in written English with internal and external customers.
Oral Communications: Ability to comprehend and converse in English to communicate effectively with medical center staff patients families and external customers.
Knowledge: Ability to demonstrate full working knowledge of standard concepts practices procedures and policies with the ability to use them in varied situations.
Team Work: Ability to work collaboratively in small teams to improve the operations of immediate work group by offering ideas identifying issues and respecting team members.
Customer Service: Ability to provide a high level of customer service to patients visitors staff and external customers in a professional service-oriented respectful manner using skills in active listening and problem solving. Ability to remain calm in stressful situations. : Ability to deal with internal and external customers; must develop positive relationships with clinical department staff to maximize the benefit and effectiveness of the financial clearance activities
Social/Environmental Requirements:
Work requires close attention to detail for work to be accurately completed. Intermittent breaks during the work day do not compromise the work.
1. Work routine is fairly consistent but employee needs to be able to use judgment to respond to events several times a week.

Pay Range:
$21.00 - $21.00The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors that may include seniority education training relevant experience relevant certifications geographyof work location job responsibilities or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials call pay premium pay overtime pay and other additional pay practices as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
