Finance Assistant - Part Time
We are recruiting for a detail-focused Finance Assistant to join a small, friendly team on a temporary, part-time basis to provide maternity cover. This is a varied role involving basic bookkeeping and administration duties. A full handover will be provided prior to the maternity leave period.
What you can expect:
- Temporary – Maternity Cover
- Start date: ASAP
- Hours: Part-time, 3 days per week (Wed–Fri, 9am–2pm)
- Flexibility on days and working hours may be possible
- Pay rate: £12.21 per hour
What you will be doing:
- Accounts payable processes
- Bookkeeping duties including bank reconciliation
- Day-to-day sales ledger tasks
- Process sales and purchase transactions using Sage
- General administrative support
- Assist with management accounts and quarterly VAT
What we are looking for
- Familiarity with accounts payable/bookkeeping
- Familiarity with Sage (preferred)
- Administration experience
- Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
- Ability to work independently when required
- A team player with a willingness to learn
