CT Technologist Job Details

• Location: Boston, MA 02215 (Boston healthcare jobs)
• Facility: Hospital – Radiology CT Unit
• Assignment Type: Locum Tenens (Travel CT Technologist)
• Start Date: October 20, 2025
• End Date: January 17, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts
• Hours per Week: 36
• Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours biweekly (excluding on-call)
• Weekend/Holiday Requirement: Every other weekend; holidays as needed
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2700 - $2770

CT Technologist Qualifications

• At least 1 year of recent CT Technologist experience in a Level 1 trauma hospital or inpatient acute care setting
• Previous travel healthcare assignment experience required (no first-time travelers)
• Associate's degree in Chemistry required for POC testing; certificate programs not accepted
• ARRT Certification (CT) and BLS certification required
• Peripheral IV skills – must be able to start IVs on all outpatients
• Experience with GE Hi Def or Revolution CT scanners required; Toshiba CT scanner experience preferred
• Ability to work every other weekend and holidays as scheduled
• Flu vaccination required prior to start
• Must not have worked for Beth Israel Lahey Health as perm or per diem within the last 6 months

CT Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT scans in a fast-paced, Level 1 trauma hospital environment
• Start peripheral IVs for all outpatient CT procedures
• Operate GE Hi Def or Revolution CT equipment; Toshiba CT scanner experience is a plus
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide exceptional patient care
• Adhere to hospital protocols, safety standards, and clinical best practices
• Participate in weekend and holiday rotations as required
• Complete all required documentation and maintain accurate patient records
