Job Summary:
We're seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Executive, Local (SMB) to join our team. In this role, you'll have the exciting opportunity to drive new business growth, expand our presence in the local market, and build strong, lasting relationships with small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs). You'll leverage your strategic thinking, analytical skills, and persuasive communication to identify new customers, uncover growth opportunities with existing clients, and consistently exceed sales targets. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, share insights, and develop innovative sales proposals that showcase the full power of our freight services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Craft weekly sales recaps highlighting achievements, challenges, and competitive intelligence to continuously refine our approach
- Dive deep into account data and shipping trends to provide tailored service recommendations that drive customer success
- Master our cutting-edge shipping technology and systems to streamline account management and facilitate seamless customer onboarding
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, guiding them through billing processes, resolving inquiries, and fostering relationships through engaging client entertainment
- Empower customers with the knowledge and tools they need to leverage our web-based shipping and tracking solutions for maximum efficiency and visibility
- Conduct 4-6 in-person meetings daily with prospective and current clients to build relationships, understand their needs, and demonstrate the value
Requirements:
- U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the U.S.
- Located in Stoneham, MA or willing to relocate
- Exceptional organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and outstanding communication abilities
- Deep understanding of TForce Freight's competitive advantages in products, services, and technology
- Forward-thinking mindset with strong analytical skills to anticipate customer needs and identify strategic opportunities
- Proven problem-solving prowess and a knack for crafting creative solutions
- Ability to forge strategic relationships, manage a robust sales pipeline, and influence key decision-makers
- Persuasive negotiator with a toolbox of tactics to overcome objections and close deals
- In-depth knowledge of industry trends and their financial implications
- Confident and compelling public speaker with experience delivering impactful sales presentations
- Bachelor's degree preferred, but a track record of sales success is paramount
