Store Edit Specialist

Position Summary: The Store Edit Specialist will provide support to assigned stores (up to 350 stores) to achieve accurate reporting of sales, expenses, inventory and tender information. The position will be responsible for reviewing daily exception reports and resolving the issues preventing submission of the PDI manager report. The Store Edit Specialist will also be in daily contact with the stores to answer their questions related to the PDI manager reports, make corrections to sales, expenses, inventory and tender information as requested by the stores. The Store Edit Specialist will report to the Store Edit Supervisor and will be part of a group of 3 team members.

EG America is a convenience store operator with nearly 1,700 company owned and operated locations across the United States. EG Americas corporate support center is located in Westborough, MA.

Responsibilities:

1. Review PDI daily exception reports and resolve errors preventing submission of PDI manager reports.

2. Run daily PDI reports to identify errors in merchandise receiving, price changes, store transfer and product waste.

3. Answer phone calls and e-mails from the stores concerning corrections requested to manager reports and make appropriate corrections.

4. On a month end basis close out the sales in PDI validating all store reports are accounted for.

5. On a weekly and monthly basis review stores sales, cash over/short, waste, and price changes.

6. Reconcile accounts and merchandise receiving related to a new Green light receiving process that would require interactions with IT, AP, and Marketing.

7. Become proficient in a new process called DR Invoice Reconciliation (DRIR) which is a process that reconciles delivery notes to invoices and reconcile and post variances. Research would be required to investigative differences between the vendor statements and what the store received.

Working Relationships: The Store Edit Specialist will work closely with the store managers, PDI price book, IT, Cash Management and the Retail Accounting group to accurately report sales, expenses, inventory and tender information to the general ledger on a weekly and month end basis.

Minimum Education: High School

Preferred Education: Bachelor degree in Accounting

Minimum Experience: 3 years of office experience

Preferred Experience: 5 years of office in an accounting role

Soft Skills: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to shifting priorities based on the needs of our stores. Must not be afraid of working with large amounts of data. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
