CNC Machinist & Programmer
CNC Machinist – Milling & Turning Positions
3+ years of experience required
Must be able to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings - including an understanding of geometric dimensions and tolerances
Must be able to operate a PC and use MS Word
Proficient with various precision measurement tools
Understanding of G Code
Must be fluent with programming skills using computer aided software (Mastercam)
Competent with FANUC controls
25-mile radius of New Bedford is preferred
Vacation schedule open for discussion
Overtime available
Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications and tolerances.
Operate CNC machines ensuring precision in machined parts.
Utilize precision measuring instruments, including calipers and micrometers, to verify dimensions.
Program CNC machines using GD&T and CAM software, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and troubleshoot any mechanical issues that arise.
Collaborate with team members to optimize manufacturing processes and improve efficiency.
