Fund Accountant - RA2025 (Hybrid – Boston, MA)

Contract until April 26, 2026

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Fund Accountant to join our team in Boston, MA. This is a hybrid role (on-site & remote) ideal for recent finance graduates (Class of 2024–2025) or early-career professionals with up to 2 years of experience.

As a Fund Accountant, you will support the accounting and reporting of commingled investment portfolios, working closely with internal teams to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance. This role offers an excellent opportunity to begin your career in financial services while gaining hands-on experience with investment accounting and portfolio management processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the execution of daily fund accounting deliverables including transactions, expenses, cash, and corporate actions.

• Assist with net asset value (NAV) calculations and ensure accounting records are accurate and timely.

• Serve as a first point of contact for inquiries on derivative valuations and accounting issues.

• Identify, escalate, and resolve accounting discrepancies and breaks.

• Prepare daily production reports and contribute to management reporting (Clarity, PVCs, past dues, cash breaks, reconciliations, and analysis).

• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve issues and streamline processes.

• Contribute to continuous process improvements that enhance efficiency and accuracy.

• Gain exposure to how fund accounting supports the firm’s investment operations and overall business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related field (Class of 2024–2025 preferred).

• 0–2 years of experience (internship or academic project experience in finance/accounting is a plus).

• Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and meet deadlines under pressure.

• Willingness to work U.S. holidays and occasional overtime as required.
