About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Lancesoft Inc to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, 01201!

Shift:

• 11:00 AM – 11:30 PM (12-hour afternoon shift)
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call
• ~48 hrs/week typical
• Holidays required rotation
• No block scheduling

Responsibilities:

• Provide Med-Surg inpatient care (adult patients)
• Monitor and care for telemetry patients
• Typical ratio 1:6 patients
• Administer meds, IV therapies, treatments
• Complete documentation in Meditech
• Perform assessments, admissions, discharges
• Float to other Med-Surg units as needed
• Use NIHSS, BLS, ACLS protocols in care

Requirements

✅ Requirements:

• 2+ years Med-Surg RN experience (required)
• Telemetry experience (required)
• Must be willing to float to any Med-Surg unit
• Basic dysrhythmia course (strongly required)
• Meditech Expanse experience (preferred)
• Certifications required at submission (no pending):
  • BLS (AHA)
  • ACLS (AHA)
  • NIHSS
• Active Massachusetts RN license in hand (required)
