Accounts Receivable Accountant

- Payment Processing: Manage the accurate application of multi-channel remittances (ACH, credit card, and check) to client accounts.
- Collections Management: Proactively monitor aging schedules and execute professional follow-up strategies for delinquent accounts.
- Reporting: Deliver comprehensive updates to leadership regarding cash flow status and the progress of recovery efforts.
- Customer Liaison: Serve as a dedicated resource for client inquiries regarding billing discrepancies, payment terms, and account reconciliations.
- Invoicing & Portals: Facilitate the distribution of billing documents and credit adjustments via email and various third-party vendor portals.
- Month-End Support: Play a key role in the closing cycle by reconciling ledger accounts and compiling necessary financial schedules.
- Credit Administration: Oversee the onboarding of new accounts, including the evaluation of creditworthiness and processing reference checks.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Sales and Operations departments to streamline billing workflows and resolve disputed charges.
