IT Support Specialist
The IT Support Specialist provides Tier 1 technical support for end users, resolving issues related to workstations, software applications, and IT services. The role is essential in ensuring smooth daily operations across NESN’s user base.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Respond to and resolve IT support tickets via phone, email, or remote assistance.
- Provide basic hardware/software troubleshooting, including printing, faxing, and peripheral device support.
- Maintain and update documentation in Jira/Confluence.
- Assist with onboarding and training of new users, including setup and orientation.
- Support MS Office Suite, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and conferencing room technology.
- Maintain asset tracking records and assist with lifecycle management.

Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of IT support experience
- Bachelor’s or relevant technical certification
- Must be comfortable working occasional evenings or weekends as business needs dictate.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Organizational and time management abilities
- Analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Proficiency in: Microsoft Office, Basic Windows troubleshooting, Jira, Zoom, Teams
- Any of the following, preferred: A+/Network+, Security+, Microsoft 365 Admin Certifications
- Apple OS and hardware experience, preferred
- Familiarity with MDM solutions and remote access platforms, preferred
The expected range for this position is $26 to $30 per hour. The final offer will be determined by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, knowledge, skills, and internal equity.
