Staff Accountant

Job Summary:

Under direct supervision, perform general accounting functions.

Essential Functions:

• Reconcile credit card statements and coordinate with other associates as necessary to resolve discrepancies related to credit card charges


• Reconcile returns to suppliers and work with internal and external stakeholders to address problems


• Assist with monthly sales and use tax return preparation


• Assist with month end analysis


• Support accounts payable by entering invoices as necessary


• Special projects as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent required


• Experience using Microsoft Excel


• Strong analytical skills


• Completes tasks with a sense of urgency


• Ability to learn and master new skills


• Some office experience, in a manufacturing environment preferred

Job Requirements:

• Must have a reliable form of transportation and ability to travel to other company locations.


• Flexibility to work OT when needed.
