Travel Pay Range: $62–$68/hour

Position Summary


"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled Travel RN Case Manager to coordinate patient care, conduct utilization review, and support safe, timely discharges. This role works closely with providers, payers, and the care team to ensure appropriate levels of care, accurate documentation, and compliance with all regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Screen new admissions and identify discharge needs.

• Verify demographics/insurance and complete InterQual® assessments.

• Review admission appropriateness and levels of care.

• Manage HINNs, appeals, and payer communication.

• Address psychosocial, financial, and legal barriers; make referrals.

• Conduct utilization review and respond to payer requests.

• Collaborate with physicians and care teams on coordinated plans.

• Oversee safe discharges and facility placements.

• Monitor length of stay and escalate concerns.

• Support denial prevention and reimbursement accuracy.

• Ensure compliance with all policies, safety standards, and regulations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years recent acute care experience; case management preferred.

• InterQual® or similar utilization management experience required.

• Recent discharge planning and utilization review experience (within 4 years).

• Active MA RN license; BSN preferred.

• Strong communication, organization, and critical thinking skills.

• Computer proficient and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
