Machine Learning in Biomedical Imaging Research Assistant/Associate
1. Extracts data on protocol patients from electronic and paper hospital records, outpatient charts and private physician office records in order to complete data collection required by specific protocols. Enters data into computerized system. (essential)
2. Validates data entry and comparison of data obtained electronically and from medical record review. (essential)
3. Assists investigator with correspondence with IRB. (essential) Required Qualifications:
1. High School diploma or GED required.
2. 0-1 years related work experience required.
3. Experience with computer systems required, including web based applications and some Microsoft Office applications which may include Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Access. Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Biomedical Engineering, Bioinformatics, or a related field.
- Strong programming proficiency in Python; experience with SQL and database management systems preferred.
- Experience working with medical or biomedical datasets; experience with imaging data formats (DICOM, NIfTI) is a plus.
- Exposure to cloud-based platforms (e.g., AWS S3/EC2, Azure, GCP, or institutional HPC clusters) is desirable.
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills, with strong attention to detail and data integrity.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple parallel workflows.
- Commitment to researching best practices and maintaining compliance with patient privacy and research data security requirements.

8. Customer Service: Ability to demonstrate a positive attitude and respond to requests in a timely and respectful manner. Social/Environmental Requirements:
1. Work requires close attention to task for work to be accurately completed. Intermittent breaks during the work day do not compromise the work.
2. Work is fairly routine from day to day. Employee follows a set pattern with any changes being communicated by supervisor.
3. No substantial exposure to adverse environmental conditions

$21.64 - $34.62 The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time.
