Responsibilities
- Perform MRI exams using GE HDXT 16.0 and 23.0 systems, ensuring high-quality images and patient safety.
- Screen patients for MRI safety, obtain informed consent when required, and position patients to optimize image quality.
- Coordinate with another MRI technologist or tech aide; the assignment notes that travelers will not work solo and after-midnight coverage is managed by call.
- Enter and manage imaging data in Meditech Expanse (where applicable) and ensure correct labeling and transmission to PACS.
- Adhere to established protocols, maintain equipment readiness, and participate in after-hours call as needed.
- Complete scheduling and documentation requirements, including RTO details at submission; comply with profile upload instructions to avoid processing delays.

Requirements
- 2+ years of current Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) experience
- ARRT (MR) certification; active status required
- GE MRI equipment experience required
- Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred
- American Heart Association BLS certification required
- Willingness to work weekends and evenings; able to take call as needed
- Own vehicle and valid driver’s license
- Perm address must be included in profile; must reside beyond 50 miles of the assignment location
