You Are:

You are an experienced and inquisitive Semiconductor Design Engineer with a passion for technology and innovation. With 15-20 years of experience in silicon designs, you have a deep understanding of the mechanisms of modeling, extractions, layout, reliability, and design, particularly in advanced nodes. You are familiar with Analog Design, Static Timing, Reliability, Layout, and Test/Qualification, and have a solid background in device physics. Your collaborative spirit and ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences make you an ideal candidate for this role. You thrive in environments that require critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and you are always eager to learn and adapt to new challenges.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Understanding the impacts of technology on designs through the lens of the PDK.
  • Investigating the intersection of PDK components such as models, extraction, reliability, and physical implementation on design for both initial PDK and subsequent revisions.
  • Communicating technical understandings to design communities, decision makers, and foundries.
  • Identifying opportunities for advanced tooling support to address new and advanced technology challenges.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance design methodologies and processes.
  • Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.

What You’ll Need:

  • 15-20 years of experience in silicon designs, particularly in advanced nodes.
  • In-depth knowledge of modeling, extractions, layout, reliability, and design.
  • Familiarity with Analog Design, Static Timing, Reliability, Layout, and Test/Qualification.
  • Strong background in device physics.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
