Account Executive – Automotive Marketing Team

Join an award-winning sales team that’s helping transform the retail auto industry. As part of The USA TODAY Network Automotive enterprise-wide solutions team , you’ll be at the forefront of building the strongest portfolio of digital marketing, wholesale, and commerce solutions for our automotive clients.

We’re looking for an Account Executive who thrives on driving growth, building relationships, and delivering exceptional results. If you’re motivated, resourceful, and ready to be part of a team that’s changing the way dealerships grow their business, this is the role for you.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive new business growth, product penetration, upsells, and account retention.
  • Build strong relationships with senior executives at local dealerships and rooftops.
  • Deliver face-to-face sales calls, retention meetings, and campaign reviews with insights and recommendations.
  • Partner with Client Success Managers to create and deliver custom ROI-driven solutions.
  • Manage your pipeline in Salesforce, accurately forecast, and stay focused on revenue goals.
  • Develop account plans and strategies that expand market share within the major automotive segment.


What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, or equivalent experience.
  • 3–5+ years of successful sales experience, with a track record of hitting and exceeding goals.
  • Strong understanding of digital media platforms and solution-based selling.
  • Proven ability in client growth, retention, and upsell.
  • Experience in Salesforce (or another CRM) and comfort in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
  • Located in or near Worcester, MA

The annualized base salary for this role will range between $65,000 and $70,000.  Variable compensation is not reflected in these figures and based on the role, may be applicable. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, location, and union representation, if applicable.
