**What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations within the healthcare location.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting staff, visitors, and/or patients as needed.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and around the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and support a secure environment.
+ Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas, reporting any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
+ Assist with access control by verifying identification and/or credentials when required.
+ Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and/or emergency responders as situations arise.
+ Complete required reports and documentation accurately regarding incidents, patrols, and other security-related activities.
+ Remain alert and observant to changes in the environment, promptly addressing any security-related concerns in accordance with Allied Universal procedures.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ A guard card or license is preferred.
+ Applicants should be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
