Senior Accountant / Accounting Manager
Nineteen Group – Americas
Boston, MA | Hybrid | $90,000–$125,000 (DOE)
At Nineteen Group – Americas , we are building the financial infrastructure to support a rapidly expanding portfolio of events and media brands across the United States.
As the U.S. division of Nineteen Group, we are scaling quickly through organic growth and acquisitions. Our finance team is evolving alongside that growth, and we are looking for a Senior Accountant / Accounting Manager who wants to play a central role in strengthening and scaling our multi-entity accounting operations.
This is an opportunity to step into a growing platform and help build the next phase of the finance function.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Head of Finance, this role will own key aspects of the multi-entity month-end close process while helping establish consistent, scalable accounting practices across our U.S. portfolio.
You will work closely with finance leadership and operating teams within acquired businesses to ensure strong financial reporting, operational rigor, and continued improvement of our accounting infrastructure.
This role offers strong visibility across the organization and the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the development of a finance function supporting a growing portfolio of U.S. brands.
What You’ll Do
Multi-Entity Close & Financial Reporting
- Own components of the monthly close process across multiple entities
- Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
- Ensure accuracy and consistency across financial reporting
- Support continued standardization of close processes
Operational Accounting
- Help refine and strengthen accounting workflows across AP, AR, and cash management
- Support improvements to reconciliation, documentation, and reporting practices
- Partner with the finance team to build scalable accounting processes that support continued growth
Finance Infrastructure & Systems
- Contribute to ongoing improvements in accounting systems and reporting workflows
- Support alignment of processes across multiple entities and business units
- Assist with financial systems enhancements as the organization continues to scale
Cross-Functional Finance Support
- Partner with finance leadership on reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis
- Support audit and tax processes as needed
- Collaborate with operating teams to strengthen financial visibility and reporting consistency

What You Bring
Required Experience
- 4–8+ years of accounting experience (level may flex depending on background)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and month-end close processes
- Experience working across multiple entities, divisions, or business units
- Strong reconciliation and financial reporting skills
- Advanced Excel capabilities
- Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting platforms
- ERP exposure preferred
Nice to Have
- Experience in high-growth or private equity-backed environments
- Exposure to acquisitions or business integrations
- Experience supporting multi-entity organizations
Compensation & Structure
- Salary range: $90,000–$125,000 , depending on experience
- Full-time, exempt role
- Hybrid work environment in Boston
