Consulting – Technology Consulting – AI & Data - Data Design & Management (Senior) (Multiple Positions) (1695921), Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, Boston, MA.
Work as part of a team to leverage technology enabled capabilities and information management frameworks to identify business needs and challenges through structured capability assessments, diagnostic analytics, solution analytics, and enterprise analytics. Support design and execution of data documentation, diagrams, or data and analytic results to clearly communicate the different components of an analysis or conceptual structure of a problem or situation to engender client / stakeholder feedback and buy-in. Apply frameworks to strategize and implement master data management, data governance, enterprise data management, enterprise content management and knowledge management solutions. Leverage modern data ingestion techniques (e.g., ELT, Near-Real-Time ingestion) to support data management, and advanced analytics and AI initiatives. Articulate scalable data architecture concepts, document reference architectures, and speak to end-to-end solutions. Conduct research on relevant competitor activity, tools, and industry guidelines to inform client recommendations and deliverables. Establish list of activities, and associated project plan for discrete workstream and report progress to completion to internal and external teams. Conduct quality assurance testing and reviews of deliverables and data products/ solutions to support quality work products. Identify risks and issues to the larger project and timeline based on work being completed, escalate to the larger team, draft communication and mitigation plans. Provide technical guidance and share knowledge with team members with diverse skills and backgrounds. Consistently deliver quality client services focusing on more complex, judgmental and/or specialized issues. Work collaboratively with clients in all aspects of design and delivery of information solutions. Review client provided data, propose questions and participate in discussions with client stakeholders and gather information, and support team in solution design and/or development of client recommendations. Serve as point of contact for specific client resources based on scope of services and demonstrate integrity and responsiveness to cultivate client trust and relationship. Research, train and up-skill on client technology/tools as needed for engagement to demonstrate technical capabilities and engender client trust. Support business development efforts through proposal design and documentation of case studies.
Provide technical guidance and share knowledge with team members with diverse skills and backgrounds. Consistently deliver quality client services focusing on more complex, judgmental and/or specialized issues. Demonstrate technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Learn about EY and its service lines and actively assess and present ways to apply knowledge and services.
Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business or a related field and 2 years of related work experience; OR a Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business or a related field and 1 year of related work experience.
Must have 1 year of experience using analytics to solve business problems, monitor risks in business processes and apply analytic technologies to deliver value to the business.
Must have 1 year of experience supporting client advisory services on the full data supply chain from data wrangling to data consumption via analytics.
Must have 1 year of experience in at least one or a combination of the following analytics tools:
o ACL
o Tableau
o PowerBI
o Spotfire
o Microsoft SQL Server
o SPSS
o SAS
o Business Objects
o Cognos
o Informatica
o Trillium, and/or
o Data Stage
Must have 1 year of experience in at least one or a combination of the following modernized information management tools:
o Talend
o Collibra
o Oracle DRM
o SAP MDM
o Informatica
o Hyperion
o Essbase, and/or
o SQL
Must have 1 year of experience with ETL processes across one or a combination of the tools below.
o Informatica
o AWS Glue
o Fivetran
o Talend

o IBM InfoSphere
o DataStage
o Azure Data Factory
o Hevo Data
Must have 1 year of experience in providing complex consultative services in at least one or a combination of the following areas:
o information strategy
o data architecture,
o information/data governance,
o master data management,
o data quality, and/or
o data integration.
Requires travel up to 80% of the time, of which 10% may be international, to serve client needs.
