Responsibilities- Sales and Profit: Infuse your passion for Claire's products into achieving retail store targets, fostering growth, and spreading the joy of self-expression; implement strategies and promotions to drive traffic and increase sales.
- Memorable Shopping Experiences: Create positive and inclusive customer interactions; help customers find pieces that reflect their unique personality.
- Piercing Excellence: Join our piercing experts through comprehensive training. Guide customers through piercings, educate on aftercare, maintain a sterile environment, and address questions and concerns throughout the process.
- Store Operations: Oversee operations with efficiency and flair, including inventory management, cash transactions, visual merchandising, and coordinating promotional activities to reflect Claire's fun and joyful brand.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, manage, and develop your team. Foster collaboration, motivation, and accountability to drive results and help team members reach their potential.
- Brand Representation: Showcase Claire's products with enthusiasm; ensure store merchandising reflects latest trends and maximizes sales opportunities.
- Sales-Driven Mindset: You strive to meet and exceed sales targets and maximize opportunities.
- Customer-Centric Approach: You are passionate about delivering exceptional service and memorable shopping experiences.
- Retail & Leadership Experience: At least one year of retail management experience preferred, with a proven ability to drive sales and support team success.
- Confidence in Piercing Services: Willingness to become a trained piercing specialist and provide expert guidance to customers.
- Strong Communication & Selling Skills: You engage customers, build relationships, and close sales.
- Ability to Work Independently: You are self-motivated, organized, and capable of taking charge when needed.
- You can conduct piercings and demonstrate patience and empathy, particularly with young or anxious customers.
- You are proficient in operating a POS system to facilitate transactions and manage sales efficiently.
- You hold a high school diploma or equivalent and have 1-2 years of retail management experience.
- You can stand for scheduled shifts and maneuver 11-35 kg (25-75 lbs).
- You can bend, stoop, extend reaching, and climb ladders or step stools while placing merchandise and assisting customers.
- You are passionate about providing customers opportunities to express themselves every day.
- You are energized by interacting with customers and strive to provide excellent service.
- You align with Claire's values of teamwork, compassion, integrity, customer delight, diversity, and self-expression.
- You have strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with customers, employees, and management.
- You possess mathematical aptitude for tasks such as inventory management, sales analysis, and cash handling.

- You may occasionally work independently in some stores.
- You have a passion for fashion and stay up to date with trends to enhance the customer experience.
- You can create a curated fashion look with products during your shift.

CompensationCompensation Range: $24.00 - $26.50 per hour. Claire’s is committed to adhering to all applicable laws and will compensate positions at or above the legally mandated minimum wage for the location. Final compensation will depend on factors such as experience, education, certifications, skills, and geographic location.
