Purchasing Coordinator

Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Purchasing Coordinator:
Deliver procurement services for both expense and capital purchases, ensuring timely processing of purchase requisitions and orders. Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve discrepancies, manage vendor data in SAP, and maintain inventory levels. Support sourcing initiatives, supplier enrollment, and compliance requirements, while contributing to cost-saving projects. Provide training on procurement processes and assist in continuous improvement projects. Offer analytical support and maintain data integrity, ensuring effective oversight of supplier information.
Required Skills for Purchasing Coordinator:
3-5 years of experience in purchasing or a related role, with a focus on indirect or direct materials or services. High school diploma or equivalent; working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to maintain productive relationships and engage with colleagues at various levels.
