As a Full-Time Estimator at Green Leaf Construction, you will possess the unique opportunity to build and maintain meaningful relationships with customers while demonstrating strong leadership and client service skills. Your ability to facilitate collaboration among team members and communicate effectively with all stakeholders will ensure that the estimating process runs smoothly and exceeds client expectations throughout every project. You will engage in pre-bid meetings and contribute to bid strategy discussions, leveraging your insights to review proposal specifications and determine the scope of work. You will also have an opportunity to help us grow or subcontractor base and pursue high quality projects.

By incorporating historical data into your estimates and preparing complete takeoffs, you will provide invaluable input on complex projects. Quality control of bids and maintaining subcontractor bid lists will be critical to your success. Additionally, your proficiency in estimating systems will enable you to document estimates thoroughly, fostering a cohesive team effort towards achieving departmental goals while consistently enhancing client satisfaction.

To thrive as a Full-Time Estimator at Green Leaf Construction, you must possess a robust set of skills and experience. Exceptional oral and written communication abilities will be crucial for clearly presenting project information to team members and stakeholders. Your keen attention to detail, along with the capability to read and execute blueprints, drawings, and plans, will empower you to produce precise estimates. Most of all, your willingness to be part of a team and support your team members; when you succeed, we all succeed!

Experience with software tools such as Procore, Excel, and Word is preferred, enabling you to streamline the estimating process effectively. The role demands the ability to work under pressure and quickly identify and solve problems as they arise. Physically, you'll need to possess the stamina to climb ladders, maintain balance, and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds. A B.S. as sometimes you'll be headed out to a walk through.

A BS in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, combined with 3-7 years of estimating experience, rounds out the qualifications necessary for success in this dynamic position.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

• Ability to communicate and clearly present project information to other team members.
• Thorough knowledge of GLC Safety Program.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Extremely detail oriented.
• Ability to read understand and execute blueprints drawings and plans.
• Ability to quickly identify problems and efficiently solve them.
• Procore, Excel and Word experience preferred.
• Physical Requirements: Workers must be able to: see well (either naturally or with correction); coordinate the movements of eyes
• hands and fingers; use hands, arms and fingers fully; climb and maintain balance on ladders and scaffolding; stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl or work at heights as required; and list and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds and occasionally more.
