HVAC Sales and Operations Manager

• Drive HVAC sales by assessing customer needs and recommending appropriate systems, upgrades, and services.
• Prepare, present, and follow up on estimates to close sales and maintain a steady pipeline of work.
• Promote maintenance agreements and develop new opportunities through existing customers, referrals, and service calls.
• Ensure consistent revenue by keeping technicians scheduled with profitable projects.
• Lead and support HVAC team members, including technicians and administrative staff.
• Provide technical guidance and ensure high standards for workmanship, safety, and customer service.
• Address customer concerns and resolve service issues promptly and professionally.
• Oversee scheduling, workflow, and coordination with administrative staff to optimize productivity.
• Monitor performance, improve processes, and manage vendor relationships to support department profitability and growth.

Success in this role will be measured by:

• HVAC department revenue and profitability
• Sales conversion rates and proposal follow-up
• Technician productivity and quality of work
• Customer satisfaction and repeat business

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in HVAC sales, estimating, service leadership, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of residential HVAC systems and solutions.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
• Leadership skills with the ability to support and motivate a small team.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with common office software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 80 pounds.
• Able to perform various tasks that may include standing, climbing, lifting, walking, reaching, crawling, etc.
