As a new Trained Nursing Assistant at JGS Lifecare, you can expect to assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating. You will provide emotional support and companionship while ensuring the safety and well-being of those in your care. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include monitoring vital signs, reporting any changes in residents' conditions to the nursing staff, and helping with mobility as needed.

This full-time position follows a Monday to Friday schedule from 8am to 4pm, allowing you to have a consistent routine while attending the 4-week training program.

What you need to be successful

To excel as a Trained Nursing Assistant at JGS Lifecare, proficiency in computer skills is essential for maintaining accurate resident records and accessing important information. The ability to read and write in English is crucial for comprehending care plans, documenting observations, and communicating effectively with residents and colleagues. Strong interpersonal skills are a must to build rapport with residents and provide compassionate care.

Attention to detail is vital for ensuring residents' needs are met with precision and accuracy. Additionally, a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced healthcare environment is key to success in this rewarding role.
