National Account Executive IV
: Ready to help us transform healthcare? Bring your true colors to blue. Reporting to the Director of National Sales, this role will oversee a portfolio of national customers. This individual will drive renewal, growth and cross sales activities to increase membership and premium revenue. The role will partner with the Account Manager (where applicable) Account Service Consultant and leadership team to support our national customers as well as other cross-functional areas to ensure we are supporting our customers to maximize our success. This position has the potential to grow and expand in leadership scope as the organization considers succession planning both within the Sales organization and across the enterprise. Responsibilities: Directs renewal and cross-selling activities for an assigned portfolio of national clients to meet and exceed territory goals/ targets Develops strategies to align national customer business goals with recommendations for BCBSMA plan designs, wellness and clinical teams and additional options Manages internal and external stakeholders to maximize both retention and growth for membership, revenue / fees Upholds the BCBSMA values and supports diversity and inclusion activities Advocates for national portfolio customers and members to ensure the organization always puts the member first Qualifications: Experience managing large, complex customers, ideally within the health insurance sector with proven success with retention / growth objectives Professional maturity and acumen to handle complex negotiations, C-suite discussions both internally and externally Acute understanding of self-insurance/ ASC funding as well as fully insured concepts to handle complex renewals Strong public speaking skills, leading board level meetings / finalist meetings and comfortable using technology to engage the audience Strong desire to exceed customer expectations and passion to win Occasional travel to local client sites Strategic approach to client management with support from leadership Experience: Bachelor's degree required: Master's degree in Business or related area a plus Massachusetts Producer License required (or obtained within 90 days of hire) 5+ years' experience managing complex national clients within health insurance industry 3+ years' experience in managing National / Major Accounts ( >1K subs) 5+ years of prior sales experience Must reside in the New England area commutable to Massachusetts based customers. #LI-Hybrid Minimum Education Requirements: High school degree or equivalent required unless otherwise noted above Location Boston Time Type Full time Salary Range: $97,200.00 - $118,800.00 The job posting range is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs and affordability. This job is also eligible for variable pay.
